Wink New here..
Good day. I am new here..

My name is Marco from PH.

Anyways, I would like to ask any advise on wheel upgrades?? I have tried reading through the upper forums yet, I couldnt get the translator to translate. Anyone here upgrade their wheels to 16" or 17"??? What offset is best? 17" ET +45 okay?? and could i put 205/45 or 205/40 tires?

thanks in advance Smile <3 Brio

Hallo Marco...

If you want to upgrade your rims to 16" or 17", first you have to choose offset size. ET 42 is the minimum offset fot your brio, ET 45 will be more secure.

After that if you don't want to modify or upgrade your suspension kit, my suggestion don't use rims which have more then 7" wide.

I'm using 16" rim, ET.42 and with tyres 195/50/16. If you go with 17" rim, please consider to use 40 profile.

my choice of rims are r16 ET +40 or I can find a r16 ET +45.. The 17" is though 17x7.5 ET 45??? would that be good??? with r16 195/50/r16??? or R17 205/40 is what im thinking from achilles???

any pictures of the brio on r16 as well?? I am thinking or wanting also a r17x7.5

My experience used 16 inch rim, ET.40 with 7" is still dangerous for my Brio. if I carry 4 persons in my car, sometimes the rims will hit your front plastic fender.

I never use 17" rim haha....too big and too heavy.

But back again...that's depend on what modification theme do you like. For example...elegan ? Street racing ?

If you go with more than 7" wide and less then ET.42...prepare extra cash for suspension modification

New here..
I have applied 17x7.5 ET45 wheel on my Brio. Rear wheel fit inside fender (pic #2), but for front wheel about 2cm out of fender (pic #3).
I use 205/45 due to no stock of 205/40 02
